We mourn the loss of our former Advisory Board Chairman
Philip Freiherr von dem Bussche died on 8 April 2024, six days after his 74th birthday, after a serious illness.

Philip von dem Bussche was Chairman of the Advisory Board of the GRIMME Group from 2015 to 2021.
The Honorary President of the German Agricultural Society (DLG), enthusiastic farmer and business graduate was an extremely eloquent, educated and proven expert in all agricultural and business management topics.
We were deeply impressed by the respectful way he treated his fellow human beings in all our encounters. His ability to captivate people in conversations, lectures and discussions was unique; his extensive expertise captivated everyone. Philip von dem Bussche provided us with very intensive support during the generational transition and positively influenced strategic decisions with his sound advice. We are very grateful to him for his extraordinary commitment and unbridled passion for agriculture.
Our thoughts are with his wife Viktoria, his four children and grandchildren.
